The Crescent Moon Media Group was established in 2012 through the encouragement and generous financial support of individuals interested in and committed to the creation of a print and electronic media effort designed to raise awareness and provide education and solutions on critical global issues related to hunger, poverty, racial/ethnic intolerance and the stigma associated with certain terminal and non-terminal diseases. Working in tandem with such organizations as The Southern Poverty Law Center, The Holocaust History Project, The Hunger Project, One.org and Mercy Corps, The Crescent Moon Media Group will facilitate the production of books, video and film documentaries that will focus on the cause, history and perpetuity of these issues.
The author at a remote village in Southern Nepal where work has just been completed on a fresh-water well. If the water tests pure these children will have an unlimited supply of drinking water at their disposal for the first time in their lives.
